Where You’ll Stay
The Primary Bedroom
A very spacious room with a king bed, view of the water, en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. This room also features a small sitting area and access to the backyard and deck.
The Coral Room
This spacious bedroom has a king bed with a large dresser and closet. This room is near a bathroom that could be shared with guests in the Blue Room.
The Blue Room
This bedroom has one king-size bed, a small desk and a closet. The nearby bathroom could be shared with guests in the Coral Room.
The Office Bedroom
This room has a wall-mounted Smart TV, pull-out sofa bed and can serve as an office, sitting room or a bedroom. A bathroom is across the hall.
Kitchen
This kitchen is well-stocked with just about every tool you’d need to whip up your next great meal. Bonus: it comes with water views!
Family Room
Melt into the sofa as you enjoy the water views or stream your favorite movies and TV shows. Books, games and toys are available in the cabinet.
Patio + Dock + Yard
Relax on the outdoor sofa out back, or take a stroll down to the dock. Kids also love to sit by the fish pond on the front side of the house.
Game Room
This room has a pull-out sofa, mini fridge, billiards, darts, shuffleboard and a TV. There are a couple pub tables for a quick game of cards, too!
Dining Rooms
The property has two dining rooms. The dining room on the back of the home is the largest and offers the best water view in the house.
Living Room
This living room greets guests as they first enter The Nest. It has comfortable sofas, a view of the back deck and water, and a bluetooth speaker.
Bathrooms
The property has three full bathrooms available to guests. Two bathrooms have showers only and one has a shower/tub combo.
Laundry Room
Guests have access to the on-site washer and dryer. A couple free-and-clear detergent pods are available for guests to use.

The garden areas were very pretty, but spaced away from the pathways and open areas to allow for a spacious feeling outside also. We loved the view and being able to sit at the large table and eat or play games while enjoying looking at the creek! The neighborhood was very quiet, and we enjoyed the calm atmosphere. The Wi-Fi worked well; we were able to stream YouTube and also use our laptops. Colonial Beach waterfront was a very easy drive from the house. Elton was a very generous host and communicated with us well. We highly recommend this property and would love to return again!Verified

Beth2023-07-08The nest is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect place for our family vacation!!! The house is beautiful and spacious along with a spectacular view!They have a wonderful kitchen and well stocked for our family who loves to cook. The welcome basket of snacks was also such a nice treat! We all enjoyed playing pool, darts, shuffle board and many of the games they provided. The weather was amazing all week so we were able to spend some time at the beach which is only 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed the kayaks, bocce ball and other outdoor games as well. In the evening we would relax in the Adirondack chairs by the water or fish from the doc. We saw swans, bald eagles, and a turtle on our walk. The grandkids also enjoyed feeding the pet fish. I can’t recommend this place enough!! We all loved it so much and Elton and Michelle were wonderful and very responsive hosts who truly thought of everything for a wonderful vacation! William2023-06-15The Nest was the perfect spot for our family's annual week-long vacation. The home is absolutely beautiful and included anything we needed for a relaxing and fun time. The location was private yet perfectly close to the beach where we would spend most afternoons. Returning in the afternoon bought even more enjoyment when we would fish, prepare dinners in the kitchen overlooking Maddock Creek and ending with some pool, darts and other available games. Better than pics. 10 min drive to beach community with plenty of shops and things to do no need to leave house we were busy from fishing on the dock to playing games, and outdoor games all included. Sandra2023-05-08We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a wedding so our son and daughter and their children stayed with us. Since we were busy with the family wedding we weren’t able to take advantage of the kayaks (but they looked great). The game room was a bonus! The house is well supplied, very clean and well cared for. We also appreciated the welcome snacks and the soap and shampoo basket. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. If in the area again we would definitely rent this house.
